Do you use recruitment/staffing agencies to help you hire? The HireHive Agency Portal can help you manage your agency candidates.
What is the recruitment and staffing agency portal?
This portal lets you invite agency users to log into your company agency dashboard.
You can then assign jobs that are accepting agency candidates to these users. The agency user will receive an email telling them that a new job has been added to their portal.
The Agency Portal allows you to:
- Add external recruiters to your company account
- Assign individual recruiters to specific roles
- Keep track of agency referred candidates
- Track potential duplicates and view the original source of the candidate
Adding External Agency Users
If you use recruitment/staffing agencies to help you hire you can add them to your HireHive account as External Agency users.
This will give them access to a specific agency portal through which you can assign jobs.
To add an agency, you must be an admin on the HireHive account with Hiring Team access. In your Settings under Hiring Team you will see an External Agency Users tab.
When you click on Add Agency Recruiter you will be prompted to add their email address. You can order agency recruiters in categories if you will often be assigning several agency recruiter to a job.
Once the agency recruiter email has been added the agency recruiter will receive an email letting them know that you are using HireHive to manage candidates.
You can assign agency recruiters to jobs in the Job Overview page or when adding a new job.
Each time this agency recruiter is assigned to a new job they will receive an email detailing the new job that they can now submit candidates for.
Reviewing Agency Candidates
Candidates submitted by an agency recruiter will appear in the ‘Candidates’ tab and will have a black ‘Agency’ tag next to their name. When you hover over the tag, you will see the name of the recruiter who submitted the candidate.
Agency recruiters will see if their candidate has been rejected, but will not see what stage of the process the candidate is at – e.g they will not be alerted if a candidate is moved to the ‘Screening’ stage of the process.
If a candidates details already exist in the system the external recruiter will see a ‘potential duplicate’ flag. This flag will also be visible for the Admin/User/Reviewer reviewing the candidate details.
