Microsoft Outlook and HireHive
If you have not yet connected your calendar to HireHive you can do so by setting up an interview with a candidate.
Connecting your Outlook Calendar to HireHive
Here you will see a ‘Connect your Calendar’ option. This will prompt you to select a calendar provider (Google/Microsoft).
When you select Microsoft for Outlook or Office 365 calendars you will be asked to accept a small list of permissions.
These are needed to connect HireHive with your calendar. Once you’ve accepted this your calendar will connect in real time.
You can then go back to HireHive and you will see any ‘busy’ events appear in your calendar when scheduling an interview with a candidate.
Things to note:
Events that are marked as ‘free’ will not be shown in the calendar.
Details of the events will not be shown – a flag saying ‘Person is busy’ will appear if an event is scheduled but details will not be shown.
If other hiring team members have connected their calendars, their availability will also be visible and you will see an icon next to their name in the interview invite listing.
To disconnect your calendar just click on ‘Manage Calendar’ and disconnect the calendar.
