Follow up questions
While reviewing a candidate, you may want to ask additional questions before making a decision (ie. you may want candidates to complete further application questions or undergo a background check).
You can easily do so with HireHive: just go to ‘Settings’, then click on the ‘Application Questions’ tab in the menu on the left of your screen. You will then need to choose the ‘Follow-up questions’ tab.
The first thing you need to do is to name your group of questions descriptively (eg. Background Check). You then have to choose the title of your question, that will be shown to the candidate.
The next step is to choose the type of question, and if you want it to be optional or required. Click on ‘Save question’ to add more questions. When you are satisfied, press ‘Save’.
You can now send these follow up questions directly from the candidate’s profile. You will need to click on the ‘Questions’ tab, and click on ‘Select questions’. Choose the set of questions you want to send and send an email to the candidate.
The candidate will receive an email with a URL that they can click on to complete the questions.
Once the questions have been completed they will be stored in the candidate profile under the ‘Questions’ tab.
